This project has a client-driven theme of the “Parrot’s Perch and the Owl’s Hollow.” The design challenge was to transform a tiny 400sf apartment into a light and airy nature-driven space that could support whimsy without feeling dark and cluttered. With a tight budget, this was achieved by a minimal palette of light wood tones including light oak engineered flooring for rental durability, custom stained wall paneling, and pops of green.

The living space carries the theme of “the Parrot’s Perch,” emphasized by the faux palm tree and wallpaper. The compact convertible sectional was designed to sleep 2 people comfortably, and to accommodate a total of 4 in the apartment.

The bedroom is the “Owl’s Hollow” and features birch and owl wallpaper, white owl lamps and space saving floating nightstands.
